When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world!

CASTING NOW OPEN
HAOS are now accepting expressions of interest from anyone who is wanting to perform as a member of the cast of THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL at the Victoria Theatre in September 2026.
There are two ways you can be involved in this fantastic show - as a named Principal, or a member of the Ensemble. Please see the differences in terms of signing up below, and then follow the link to continue.
Principals (will need to audition)
All expressions of interest to take part in the auditions need to be submitted before 23:00 on Thursday 19th February 2026. The form will automatically close at this time and there will be no option to express interest from this time.
Auditions will take place on Saturday 21st February.
Ensemble (no need to audition)
Those wishing to be involved in a manner that does not require an audition can simply register their notification of intention to participate (before the same EOI deadline!), and they will be invited to join in at the "BIKINI BOTTOM BEGINS" evening on March 4th where the team will place you into the ensemble in the elements best suited to you and your strengths.

Positions within the Creative Team are now filled.
Original publication
Expressions of interest for positions within the production team will be invited late 2025.
Dates will be advertised here and via social media when released.
Casting will take place early 2026 with rehearsals starting in May/June 2026.
Auditions will be required for any principal cast members.
