HATY's Team Will Rock You.....

HATY are immensely excited about securing the rights to perform this uplifting spectacular musical cram-packed with some of the most famous popular rock music ever written, and they are even more excited now they can officially announce the team they have chosen to take it to the stage in the autumn of this year.

We'd like to take the time to wish them a huge HATY welcome, and to wish them the very best in casting the show, and starting rehearsals in the next few months. Thank you to Ashley, Georgia and Ben for joining the We Will Rock You team, we know that to many they will be familiar faces, but perhaps not to everyone, so let's take a moment to find out more about them....

ASHLEY WADE - DIRECTOR
Ashley has been directing and choreographing in and around Halifax for the past 10 years and is absolutely thrilled to be back working with HATY on their production of We Will Rock You. Ashley has previously worked on the show at the Sunderland Empire and The Spa Pavilion Theatre in Felixstowe and cannot wait to rock the stage later on in the year.

BEN SMITH - MUSICAL DIRECTOR
This will be the first time Ben has appeared as MD for a HATY production since HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL way back in 2007, although he has appeared as a player in 9 of their production's bands since that year. A regular face in production teams, orchestras or in the backstage crew both in HAOS and HATY shows for over 20 years, ben is no stranger to the brilliance that is HATY, and he is thrilled to be able to work with them more closely once again. He hopes they are ready, because we WILL rock them - until their ears bleed!

GEORGIA BLOXHAM - CHOREGRAPHER
This is Georgia’s first time being on a production team and is thrilled to be doing so with the great team at HATY. Georgia has performed with HATY and HAOS for a number of years now, appearing in HATY's last outing at the Halifax Playhouse as Charity in their production of Barnum. She is looking forward to being at the front of the rehearsal room this time however, and of course rocking out with the new generation of amazing HATY performers.
