On the 2nd May at 1930 HAOS and HATY Productions mounted a fun evening for all our locked-down members and friends to see each other, have some fun, socialise and raise some all-important funds to keep the society going during the difficult COVID-19 lockdown period.

To say it was a success is an understatement; the image shown above is just the last few that remained until the bitter end, at full swing there was over 60 screens logged in to zoom with often more than 3 people on each screen, a testament to how strongly we all feel about keeping in touch, and protecting the future of the group.

Those who felt they were able to offered generous donations to the fund, even if they had sent their apologies and couldn't attend the event, meaning that the hard-work the two committees orchestrated by Beth Smith had put in resulted in a smashing fund-raising result approaching £800!! Congratulations to all involved, and we are sincerely looking forward to seeing you all again soon, whether it be virtually or 'in the flesh'!
