We are so fortunate to be able to open our doors every so often throughout the year and help generous people mount amazing fundraising efforts for local charities and those in need of vital funds. In the first half of this year we are proud to have welcomed two hugely successful events........

An Evening of Cabaret, with a big gift to charity

Back by popular demand, and thanks to the enormous effort by Laraine, we welcomed Ben Eagle back to the rooms last month...
 

On 7 June we were entertained at the Wellington Rooms by Ben Eagle & the cast of David Walliams Demon Dentist plus Jason Weightman, in an event to raise funds for the Urology Diagnostic Unit at Huddersfield Hospital.

An extremely talented and versatile team joined together with Ben Eagle at the helm to give an enjoyable & versatile  evenings' entertainment together with raffles and auctions which combined to raise a fantastic £920.50.

Very sincere & grateful thanks go to everyone who purchased a ticket, bid in the auction or bought raffle tickets or sweets (donated by Donna) along with everyone & anyone who helped in any way at all. 

Look out for the chance to watch "Ben & Friends" at the rooms sometime in the New Year with another charity concert (this time for the unit & HAOS combined). Thanks and congratulations to Laraine again for another great evening, with a fabulous result.
