West Side Story - a quick look back
Possibly THE most famous story ever told, and arguably one of the most successful scores ever written; our young members carried this challenging work effortlessly on to the Halifax Playhouse stage in one of the most memorable moments of HATY's history

At the end of October 2022 HATY wowed audiences with their ground-breaking production of West Side Story, featuring well-deserved standing ovations at every performance. This was a challenging piece for all the team, adults and youngsters, with mature themes and far more dance than the members have recently needed to face. But the young people involved rose to the challenge and did all of us, the society, and indeed themselves proud.  

An enormous thank you to everyone involved who made it happen, we couldn't do it without you.
