SpongeBob and Patrick’s cranky, clarinet-playing neighbour. He’s grumpy, cynical, dry, short-tempered, and generally negative, but lovable! He dreams of becoming a famous stage star for the sake of his late mother, and is willing to do just about anything to achieve his big break. Performer should have comedic timing and be able to convey Squidward's dreary and sarcastic vocal quality. Confidence in tap preferred but all movement should have an emphasis on character.
